‘Thala-Thalapathy’ together in ‘Sholay’ style movie

· Okay! Now ‘Mankatha’ stands out as the most expected flick of this season. Our ‘Thala’ who has been constantly acting in serious based movies has purposely chosen to act in a comedy treatment by Venkat Prabhu. ‘Thala’ Hero, ‘Vaalu’ Director – the combination itself looks different and the success is sure about it. As a fan, we are invigorated in spirits and pinning more hopes on it.

· A particular sequence will have a scintillating kiss between Ajith Kumar and Trisha and Venkat Prabhu was urging our ‘Thala’ to accept the sequence. Finally after a long argument, our ‘Thala’ got ready for the shot with much embarrassment and finally the shot was done with ‘4 Takes’.

· ‘If everyone is bad, He is very bad’ – This will be the punch line of Thala in this movie.

· Both Ajith Kumar and Vijay happened to meet each other while filming for ‘Velayudham’ and ‘Mankatha’ at the same location. While Venkat Prabhu happened to narrate the role of Arjun in this movie, Ilayathalapathy Vijay openly confessed that ‘Ah! I myself would have done this role…’

· Thala has told Vijay, “I am a very big fan of your comedy in ‘Ghilli’. I have tried something like that here in ‘Mankatha’. This will be the most ultimate comedy movie in my career.’ Vijay has immediately reply: ‘That was the only department where I shine the most and you have now leaped in for a big competition.” (Jolly Statement)

· Few lines of Rajnikanth’s song ‘Rama Andaalum Raavana Aandalum’ has remixed for a song with Ajith’s line going this way – Ambani Parambara, Anjavadhu Thalamurai, Anandham Oru Muraidhan’.

· Ajith Kumar’s character name is still suspense to director Venkat Prabhu himself. It’s because ‘Thala’ name in the movie isn’t confirmed yet.

· Ajith Kumar-Vijay has become so closer and is now planning to act together in a movie. Expectations are that the official announcements may be done during the publicity phase of ‘Mankatha’.

· When Venkat Prabhu narrated a double-hero script to both Vijay and Ajith Kumar, they started grabbing the roles for themselves. Venkat Prabhu then casually said that the screenplay isn’t done yet.

· They have requested Venkat Prabhu to unite them together in a movie like ‘Sholay’ that is still an evergreen masterpiece.

OFFICIAL NEWS: Priya Anand is Vijay's Heroine is A.R.Murugadoss' Film

There was some buzz rounding up kollywood last few days that it is that Priya Anand of Nottrenbadhu(180) fame will share the screen with Vijay in his forthcoming movie to be directed by A.R Murugadoss.


Now the news is official from AR Murugadoss that Priya Anand will pair Vijay. The 7aum Arivu director revealed the news to his fans in his social network site in a short sweet single line saying,

The movie that will kick off in Thiruchendur next month. Sources say the commercial entertainer will feature Bollywood hottie Priyanka Chopra along with Priya Anand opposite Vijay in the movie.

A.R Murugdoss is in talks with both Priyanka Chopra in this regard.

SelvaRaghavan to make Aayirathil Oruvan Part-2?

Selvaraghavan is toying with the idea of making a sequel to Aayirathil Oruvan. Though the director had said this long back, his involvement in Mayakkam Enna kept him away from discussing the sequel.
Selva’s wife Gitanjali has said that the sequel is still in the initial stages and the cast and crew have not been finalized yet. Once Mayakkam Enna hits the screens, Selva may decide on the sequel, we are told.
Aayirathil Oruvan was released a couple of years ago and it starred Karthi, Andrea, Reemma Sen, Parthiban and others.
