Diwali movie release dates in Malaysia

There are only two direct tamil movies releasing for this deepavali. After Simbu's Osthi and Danush's Mayakkam Enna postponed its release dates, only Vijay's Velayutham and Suriya's 7am Arivu stands face to face to start the race in the box-office. Here are the release dates for the movies releasing for diwali in Malaysia

Thala Ajith hospitalized.!!

Ajith has been hospitalized following a mishap that occurred on the sets of Billa 2. The star was involved in a fight sequence wherein in he was required to throw a bottle on the villain. Though this was a dummy bottle that is designed not to cause any serious damage injury, it had to be handled carefully.
When Ajith swung the bottle on the villain, he is reported to have hurt his hand and it started to bleed. He was offered first aid immediately and rushed to the hospital. The star has been advised complete rest and has been admitted to the hospital.

Velayudham Theatres list in Sri Lanka

Velayudham, which is hitting on October 26, is expected to release worldwide in somewhere between 350 to 380 screens, says a trade source.

Vijay, Genelia D'Souza and Hansika Motwani starrer Velayudham is action movie, which has brother-sister bonding as the main theme. The movie directed by Jayam Raja and produced by Aascar Ravichandran. 

Jayam Raja compares Velayutham with Rajini's Baasha

‘Jayam’ Raja has almost completed the shooting of his upcoming big-budget film Velayudham which has Vijay in the lead. The film unites Vijay together with Genelia for the second time after Sachin a few years back. Bubbly and pretty Hansika would be the second heroine in the film which also has the talented Saranya Mohan playing Vijay’s younger sister.

The film has been set to score by Vijay Antony and has been produced by Ravichandran’s Ascar Films. “As such, equal footage has been given to both the heroines. Though sparks flew between them at the shooting spot, there weren’t any verbal duel or the case of both of them looking away from each other. The ‘ego’ problem was very much there but didn’t go beyond our limit,” said Raja.

Genelia’s last film in Tamil was Uthamaputhiran opposite Dhanush which didn’t do exceptionally well at the box-office. On the contrary, Hansika is quite happy at the way her last film Engeyum Kaadhal fared at the box-office. Both the heroines are praying for Velayudham to become a super-duper hit to resurrect and sustain their respective careers.

Speaking about the film, Raja further added that but for a solitary song, the shooting has been completed. He likened the film to Rajini’s phenomenal hit Baadshah when he said that Velahudham to Vijay would be like Enga Veettu Pillai was to MGR and Baashha was to Rajini.

Vijay's second role in Velayutham

Everyone is well aware that Vijay is playing the role of a milkman in Velayudham but there is yet another role played by him in the film.

The other avatar shows Vijay as a vigilante who works to eradicate corruption. According to the sources it is revealed that Vijay’s milkman role which is set in village backdrop will be very simple but when he reaches the city his character will completely change as situation forces him to take this new avatar. Jayam Raja said that Velayudham will be a whole new entertainer and quite different from other vigilante movies like Indian and Anniyan.

Velayudham which is made with a budget of Rs 45 crore features Vijay, Hansika Motwani and Genelia D'Souza in lead roles.

பிரபுதேவா,நயன்தாரா காதல் முறிவு. மீண்டும் நடிக்க வருகிறார் நயன்தாரா

படங்களை முடித்து கொடுத்து மாத கணக்காகியும் திருமண தேதியை பிரபு தேவா முடிவு செய்யாததால் காத்திருக்கிறார் நயன்தாரா.

பிரபு தேவா, நயன்தாரா காதல் ஜோடியின் திருமணத்துக்கு, பிரபு தேவாவின் முதல் மனைவி ரமலத் எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவித்ததால் பரபரப்பு ஏற்பட்டது. பின்னர் சட்டப்படி இருவரும் விவாகரத்து பெற்றனர். இதற்கிடையில், ‘ஸ்ரீ ராம ராஜ்யம்Õ படத்தில் நயன்தாரா நடிக்க ஒப்பந்தம் ஆனார். ஓராண்டு நடந்த அதன் படப்பிடிப்பு சமீபத்தில் முடிந்தது. அத்துடன் புதிய படங்களில் நடிப்பதை நிறுத்திவிட்டார்.

பிரபு தேவாவும் பட இயக்கத்தில் பிஸியாக இருந்ததால் திருமணம் பற்றி மவுனம் காத்தார் நயன்தாரா. அக்டோபர் முதல் வாரத்தில் இருவரும் திருமணம் செய்து கொள்வார்கள் என்று கூறப்பட்டது. ஆனால், இதுவரை பிரபுதேவாவிடம் இருந்து திருமண தேதி பற்றி முடிவு எதுவும் தெரியாததால் குழப்பத்தில் இருக்கிறார் நயன்தாரா. இதற்கிடையில் பிரபுதேவா தனது குழந்தைகளுடன் நெருக்கம் காட்டி வருகிறார். சில மாதங்களுக்கு முன் வெளிநாட்டில் ஷூட்டிங் செல்வதாக பிரபுதேவா கூறியபோது, தானும் உடன் வருவதாக நயன்தாரா தெரிவித்தார்.

ஆனால், அவரை மும்பையிலேயே தங்கி இருக்க சொல்லிவிட்டு பிரபுதேவா தனது குழந்தைகளுடன் வெளிநாடு சென்றுள்ளார். சில நாட்கள் கழித்து சென்னை திரும்பிய பிரபுதேவா, விமான நிலையத்திலேயே குழந்தைகளை நண்பர்கள் மூலம் வீட்டுக்கு அனுப்பிவிட்டு அடுத்த விமானத்திலேயே நயன்தாராவை காண மும்பை பறந்தார்.

இதுபற்றி நயன்தாராவுக்கு தெரிய வந்தும், அதை பெரிதுபடுத்தாமல் திருமண தேதி பற்றி தெரிவிக்குமாறு பிரபுதேவாவிடம் வற்புறுத்தி உள்ளார். திருமண தேதி முடிவாகாத நிலையில் புதிய படங்களில் நடிப்பது பற்றியும் நயன்தாரா யோசித்து வருகிறார். சமீபத்தில் மலையாள இதழ் ஒன்றுக்கு போட்டோ ஷூட் நடத்த ஒப்புதல் அளித்ததுடன் மீண்டும் சினிமாவில் நடிக்க வருவது பற்றி அறிவிக்க இருந்தார். பின்னர் அந்த முடிவை கைவிட்டார். திருமணத்தை பிரபுதேவா தள்ளி போடுவது ஏன் என்ற குழப்பத்தில் நயன்தாரா இருக்கிறார்

சூர்யா, ஸ்ருதிஹாசன் நடிப்பில், ஏ.ஆர்.முருகதாஸ் இயக்கத்தில் உருவாகி இருக்கும் படம் 'ஏழாம் அறிவு'. உதயநிதி ஸ்டாலின் இப்படத்தினை தயாரித்து இருக்கிறார். ஹாரிஸ் ஜெயராஜ் இசையமைத்து இருக்கிறார். காஞ்சிபுரத்தில் வாழ்ந்த ஒருவரை சீனாவில் கோவில் கட்டி சாமியாக கும்பிட்டு வருகிறார்கள். பலநூறு ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னர் வாழ்ந்த அவரது கதையையும், தற்போது நடைபெறும் கதையையும் இணைத்து கமர்ஷியல் கலந்த படமாக உருவாக்கி இருக்கிறார்கள்.

இப்படத்தின் தயாரிப்பாளர் உதயநிதி ஸ்டாலின் முதலிலேயே படத்தினை தீபாவளி வெளியீடு என்று தீர்மானித்து தியேட்டர்களை புக்கிங் செய்ய ஆரம்பித்து விட்டார்.  தீபாவளிக்கு முதலில் உறுதி செய்யப்பட்ட படம் என்பதால் அதிக தியேட்டர்களில் வெளியாக இருக்கிறது. சென்னை மற்றும் அதனைச் சுற்றியுள்ளா புறநகர்களில் மட்டும் 47 தியேட்டர்களில் வெளிவர இருக்கிறது. சென்சார் அதிகாரிகள் இப்படத்திற்கு U சான்றிதழ் அளித்து இருக்கிறார்கள்.

பல்வேறு வெளியீட்டு தேதிகளில் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டு இறுதியில் தீபாவளிக்கு உறுதி செய்யப்பட்டு இருக்கிறது. விஜய் படங்களுக்கு இருக்கும் ஓப்பனிங், ஆஸ்கார் ரவிச்சந்திரனின் விளம்பரப்படுத்துதல் ஆகிய இரண்டையும் நம்பி இப்படம் வர இருக்கிறது. சென்னை மற்றும் புறநகர் ஊர்களில் மட்டும் 38 தியேட்டர்களில் வெளிவர இருக்கிறது. சென்சார் அதிகாரிகள் இப்படத்திற்கும் U சான்றிதழ் அளித்து இருக்கிறார்கள்.

'ஏழாம் அறிவு' படத்தின் தயாரிப்பாளர் உதயநிதி ஸ்டாலின் "தீபாவளி தினத்தன்று முதல் காட்சி கண்டிப்பாக 'வேலாயுதம்' படத்தை பார்ப்பேன்,  ஒரு விஜய் ரசிகனாக.. " என்று கூறி இருந்தாலும் அவரது தயாரிப்பான 'ஏழாம் அறிவு' படத்திற்கு தனது டிவிட்டர் இணையத்தில் படத்தினை முழுவதும் விளம்பரப்படுத்தி வருகிறார்.

ரசிகர்கள் மத்தியில் அதிக வரவேற்பை பெறப்போவது விஜய் படமா, சூர்யா படமா என்பது தீபாவளி முடிந்தபின் தெரியும். இதற்காக சினிமா ஆர்வலர்கள் பலரும் ஆர்வமாக காத்து இருக்கிறார்கள்.

Director Bala's Next film titled 'Eriyum Thanal'?

Bala's next, which has young hero Adharva in the lead role, is said to be inspired by a popular Malayalam novel, the title of whose Tamil version is 'Eriyum Thanal'. "A popular writer is taking care of script work," sources say.

"The story revolves around a family, especially a father and mother, who undergo certain troubles because of their children. Adharva gets to play a lifetime role, quite like other protagonists of Bala's movies," they add.

The national award winning director is on the lookout for a heroine, sources say and add: "He is also on the verge of completing the remaining members of the cast and crew. An official announcement is expected soon."

GV Prakash Kumar has been roped in by Bala to compose music for the movie. The director's last venture was 'Avan Ivan', which has Vishal and Arya in the role of step-brothers, who are at loggerheads for silly reasons and come together later for a cause.

Velayudham appreciated by Censor members

Vijay’s most awaited Velayudham, produced by Aascar Ravichandran and the film with the biggest budget ever for this actor has been cleared with a clean ‘U’ certification by the regional censor board. 

The movie has two hot girls Hansika and Genelia sharing screen space with Vijay and is directed by Jayam Raja. 

A high action masala flick, it has brother sister bonding as the core theme with Saranya Mohan essaying the role of Vijay’s sister. Santhanam provides the comedy. 

Speaking on this, Ravichandran said, 'The censor members were very appreciative of the film. Except for a few small cuts, they passed the film with a clean U certification'. Apparently, they praised the entire team for coming out with a mass entertainer that would go well with all types of audiences.

The songs by Vijay Antony are already a big hit.
