Vijay on Ajith's songs

While Ajith's Mankatha featured some scenes from a Vijay movie, Vijay's latest Velayudham has had Mankatha song playing in the background. It is in no way a coincidence, so what's going on? Vijay, while talking to a tabloid recently, said that it was not because his scenes were featured in Mankatha that he decided to have Mankatha songs playing in the background in Velayudham.

"I was asked during mixing whether it is okay to play Mankatha song in that scene. And I said ok," Vijay was quoted as saying.

Vijay will give the fans what they want

Vijay is always asked why he does not experiment with different roles. The actor said that he has no intention of leaving his tried and tested commercial format as his fans expect nothing less from him. His experiments with offbeat cinema have not gone down well with them he said and therefore he will stick to what he does best.
Personally, Vijay said he enjoys watching experimental cinema. Vijay has some exciting projects on hand like Nanban as well as Murugadoss's film and Gautham Menon's next. So he just wants to let his films do the talking and silence his detractors once and for all.

Here is the hot news that all Rajinikanth fans have been waiting for months together now! His film has been titled Kochadaiyaan! It will be a 3D film for which the performance capturing technology is to be used!
KS Ravi Kumar will write the story, screenplay and dialogues for this film and Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya will wield the megaphone. Eros International, which was supposed to produce Rana, will produce Kochadaiyaan.
The film is aimed for a August 2012 release and after it is wrapped up, Rajinikanth will move on to Rana, which is to be directed by KS Ravi Kumar.
