She has enough reasons to host a big bash, as she has become the most sought after actress in Tamil cinema, quietly replacing Nayanthara at the top.
However, the recluse actress, will be holding a very private party at home in Hyderabad. Telugu cinema still remains her first love, though of late box-office wise she is hotter in Tamil.
Today Tamil cinema revolves around her and all top stars are requesting her for her dates. Sweety however remains elusive and will work with only stars who are on the same wave length with her.
At the moment Anushka is doing three Tamil projects. She has an untitled film with Karthi, directed by Suraj, Vikram’s next film titled Thaandavam with Vijay and Selvaraghavan’s untitled film with Arya.
On the ‘Tatkal waiting list’ is Hari’s next, two heroine movie with Suriya, and probably Ajith’s forthcoming film for producer AM Ratnam.
For the first time top hero’s in Tamil are juggling and adjusting their dates to suit Anushka’s ! Karthi has pushed his Saguni which was due in December, as Anushka had given him dates from November 10 for his Suraj film.
Vijay and Vikram are pushing all their commitments and getting ready to shoot in US as Anushka’s call sheet cannot be wasted from December end. Selvaraghavan is making his final script ready before he starts shooting with Sweety in January!
Today, Anushka is the highest paid heroine in Tamil cinema. She gets a whopping salary of Rs 1.25 Crore ! The actress is booked till the end of 2012, and has no plans to sign more films in Tamil. She has also to squeeze in her “favourites” in Telugu and also keep some dates freefor a Bollywood project with a big hero.
What makes her tick in Kollywood ? She proved her mettle as an actress of substance with her superb performance as the lawyer Anuradha in Vijay directed Deivathirumagal. Vettaikaran and Singam where she played the glam girl heroine have been huge hits.
Sweety is a complete professional and is hassle free keeps a low profile and sticks to her commitments. No doubt she is in great demand.

Once again Vijay vs Danush vs Karthi for 2012 Pongal
While ‘Aadukalam’ won National awards and is gaining international awards, Siruthai became a commercial hit and Vijay’s ‘Kaavalan’ was a special surprise.
Now it looks like 2012 Pongal is going to have a similar scenario as the actors’ movies are likely scheduled for the release on same occasion.
Vijay’s ‘Nanban’ directed by Shankar is almost ready for release and its confirmed Pongal. The film will have a big release across the globe for Shankar and Vijay hold a greater market.
Dhanush’s ‘3’ directed by his wife Aishwarya starring Shruthi Haasan in female lead character. Karthi’s ‘Saguni’ is also getting ready for the same season.
With so many big movies releasing at the same time, it’s going to be entertainment unlimited.
‘7Aum Arivu’ is historically Wrong: Buddhist Guru
In a press conference on Saturday, Buddhist Teacher Babu T Raghu said that while he has no complaint against creativity and fiction, a disclaimer should have been mentioned in the film. “They are claiming it to be historically accurate while it is not, I have texts to prove it,” he claimed while lashing out at the promoters for trying to market the movie as an accurate depiction of Bodhidharma’s life."He was 150 years when he arrived at Canton in China and not a 25-year-old body builder as depicted by Suriya in the movie,” he added.Raghu went on to point out many instances in the movie which according to him are historically inaccurate. “I am basing my objections on eight years of study and 34 years of practice of Buddhism, my community cannot tolerate such insults to someone we sincerely worship. I respect the filmmakers and Surya, but they must not claim that their movie is a historical account of Bodhidharma’s life” he said.He stated that he was ready for a debate with the filmmakers should they wish to dispute the facts and said that he would be dispatching a protest letter to them soon. Also being discussed is a hunger strike by followers of Bodhidharma throughout the country and legal options like filing a PIL.A
Vikram's Next film wit Director Vijay titled as "Thaandavam"
Thaandavam will be an action-entertainer starring Vikram, Anushka, Amy Jackson, Santhanam among others.
The film will have music from G.V. Prakash Kumar, Lyrics by Na. Muthukumar, Camera from Nirav Shah, Editing by Anthony, Art direction by Nagu, written & directed by A.L.Vijay.
The music composition has already started and the pre-production work is currently on.
Thaandavam will have never-seen- action scenes in Indian cinema, involving Hollywood technicians. The film commences shooting in Chennai from December first week and will go on continuously in various locations of USA and in Delhi in addition to various locations in South Tamil Nadu.
It will be a summer 2012 release for Vikram, who plays a strong character Shiva.
It will be UTV’s own production in Tamil and Telugu.
UTV commenced an innovative title contest in Twitter and it received massive response from fans of cinema and Vikram.
Anushka - Amala Paul pairs Suriya for Singam Part-2
The 'Singam' pair is ready to roar again. In a film to be directed by Hari with Suriya, Anushka Shetty and Amala Paul will be the two leading ladies. This has been confirmed by the director, who is at present busy giving finishing touches to the script.
"It is a two-heroine subject and we have signed Anushka as one of the heroines," says Hari, who had earlier worked with Suriya in movies such as 'Aaru', 'Vel' and 'Singam'. "The film will go on floors very soon," the movie maker says.
If Hari manages to bring together Anushka and Amala Paul, this will be second time for the actresses to come together, for they had shared the screen space with Vikram in 'Deiva Thirumagal' earlier this year. At that time, both declared that they had become very good friends.
In the meantime, Suriya is currently working with KV Anand for 'Maatraan', which is touted to be a cutting edge commercial entertainer. He is romancing Kajal Aggarwal for the first time in this movie produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram of AGS Entertainment.
Vijay ready to do different roles
Happy with the success of 'Velayudham', his Deepavali release, the actor says, "It was my longtime desire to work with Jayam Raja and so was the director's too. I started feeling positive vibes right from the first day of the shoot and when 60 percent of the movie was shot, I was confident about it's success."
Speaking on comparisons with 'Azad', Vijay further said, "Anyone can find a lot of differences between Azad and Velayudham. The director has made interesting changes to the story and screenplay to make it close to the hearts of Tamil audience."
Vijay is currently on a break, spending time with his parents, wife and children. Earlier this week, the actor's mother and singer Shobha Chandrasekaran has been appointed as the Artistic Heritage Consultant by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.

Sunpictures wishes 'Happy Birthday' to Kamal Hassan
The actor has always been involved in social causes and has even pledged to donate his organs. This year his fan clubs have come out with a list of welfare activities which will be carried out on his birthday.
According to a press release from the association, Kamal fans will be involved in social activities on November 6 and 7. This includes donating food and medicines to the elderly and kids, blood and organ donation, donating dresses and sewing machines for the needy and, also help with the educational expenses of children.
Kamal is currently busy with work on 'Viswaroopam', his pet project where he is also donning the hats of a director and producer apart from playing protagonist. The film is taking shape at a fast pace and the cast and crew are tight-lipped about this venture. 'Viswaroopam' will be a bi-lingual in Tamil and Hindi which will be dubbed later to other languages.

Ajith's fight in snow strom for Billa 2
The shooting of the film has taken place for the last 23 days in Goa. On the last day of the shooting, the heroine of the film Parvathy Omnakuttan brought a big cake to the shooting spot and surprised everyone in the crew.
She requested Ajith to cut the cake and distribute to the cast and crew present.
But Ajith said that the real hero of this film is director Chakri and he is the appropriate person to cut the cake. So Chakri cut the cake and Ajith distributed it to all the cast and crew.
Then the cast and crew returned to Chennai after completing the shooting.
A fighting sequence for Billa 2 is to be shot in the snow storm....
The first schedule of the film was held in Tuticorin, where the scenes involved Ajith Kumar as a youngster was filmed there.
The second schedule was held in Goa, where some attention-grabbing stunt sequences were shot.
It was during this schedule; Ajith Kumar was injured while performing stunts. Now the entire crew has come back to Chennai and they’ll next head to Georgia.
According to the sources, Chakri is planning to shoot some mind-boggling action sequences between Billa and baddies across the snow capped mountains, where a huge snowstorm will appear while the action sequence is happening.
The makers are planning to complete the shooting by January-February as they want to release the film on April 14, 2012.
So far none of the posters have been unraveled and only the logo has been published in all newspapers and websites.
They have planned to shoot this sequence where Ajith will fight with the villains. The third schedule of this film’s shooting is to take place In Georgia in South Europe.

Surya who portrayed as Bodhidharma created good response than the circus artist role.
According to sources AR Murugadoss is planning to make a prequel of 7am Arivuwith Surya as Bodhidharma. Because the research made for 7am Arivu is vast to bring it into a single film.
The first 20mins of the film which carried the periodic story of Bodhidharma is the main attraction of 7am Arivu.
Now AR Murugadoss is going to give life to the whole character it seems and he is getting ready with the script work. It will be a periodic film with much characters involved.
The movie will be equal to Hollywood standards in terms of storytelling, actions and visual effects.
Also AR Murugadoss is planning to rope AR Rahman for this epic venture.
If it is true, then it will be their second team up after the Blockbuster Ghajini in Hindi.
