Vijay to rock 38 screens in Chennai with Velayudham

As the movie has been cleared by the Regional Censor Board, the makers of Vijay's Velayudham has kick-started the promotions. They have started giving ads about the movies on newspapers (English and Tamil) and have released the list of theatres, which will screen the forthcoming Tamil movie.

Velayudham, which is hitting on October 26, has got 38 screens alone in Chennai. The movie is expected to release worldwide in somewhere between 350 to 380 screens, says a trade source. It is said that the film would have released in more theatres if Surya's 7aam Arivu was not hitting the screens at the same time.

Vijay, Genelia D'Souza and Hansika Motwani starrer Velayudham is action movie, which has brother-sister bonding as the main theme. The movie directed by Jayam Raja and produced by Aascar Ravichandran.
