Protest against Surya, Murugadoss for 7am Arivu

7am Arivu had many dialogues that are pro-Tamil in nature. Interestingly, these dialogues have been censored in Sri Lanka where the film has been released this Deepavali.

Terming the decision by the 7am Arivuteam to agree to these censor cuts as ‘double standards’, the Hindu Makkal Katchi (HMK) has wrote to Surya, director Murugadoss and producer Udhayanidhi Stalin condemning their stance.

The makers of the film have been boasting here that their film highlights Tamils and their culture. But the sad truth is this very set of people have agreed to cuts by the Sri Lankan government on the dialogues that speak of the Tamil cause. This shows that they are not at all concerned with the welfare of Tamils. It is only raking in huge profits that they seem to care about, they stated in the latter.
