Vikram likes to surprise the audience with his different avatars. The actor, who impressed the viewers with his character of a dim-witted adult in Deiva Thirumagal recently, is in a mood for a change. Well, Chiyaan is all set to play a contrasting dual roles in the forthcoming multilingual movie,Thaandavam.

For the first time in his career, Vikram will be seen in dual roles. Though, there is not much information about the characters that the actor is performing, reports say that the Sethu star will be doing something different, which he has not tried before. One of his characters name is Shiva and he will be seen suffering from retrograde amnesia. The details about other role are under wraps.

Vikram will be romancing Anushka Shetty and Amy Jackson in Thaandavam. If reports are to be believed, the movie is a remake of Hollywood flickThe Bourne Identity. In the original, Matt Damon had enacted the role, confirms a source.

Thaandavam has GV Prakash's music and Nirva Shah's cinematography. The shooting of the film will take off in December 2011 and it is slated for 2012 summer release.
